      Unfortunately as a cheapskate I can only watch the cycling but can listen to TMS. That was a good compromise.

  8. What a terrible way to finish the day, after the hordes had departed the boss and I doscivered that there was half a bottle of Prosecco left and it wouldn't fit in the fridge so we had to finish it.

  10. Just had orders from SWMBO to assist her in finishing a bottle of sloe gin that she thinks may be past it's sell by date, handed a glass and told take a big slug then I'll fill it up. It's a hard job but someone's got to do it.

  11. Another dilema time. Do I typeset the Wakefield Show Guide or do I start assembleing all the lovely bits of laser cut plywood I've just picked up.?

      show guide - then you've got an incentive to do it AND you can come back to it and tweak it on a 2nd visit. Works for me.

      I only started doing it seriously after I retired in 2002 and a mate and I have done it together going off 5 or 6 times a year. We both needed S wales so we bit the bullet and got a 4 day Flexi pass down there this week and pas outs from the domestic authorities. I also needed Thingley Junc to Bradford S Junc via Melksham and did that yesterday before we came home. I've kept a log since 2004 and we were going through it last night on the way back north.       I agree, the one I like is that a cat graciously allows you to share its house with him/her.
