    Well, another new item of stock appeared last week, a very nice J Class tank. I suspect Mike was very disappointed it was withdrawn before MT black livery was introduced though...
     

     
    Track laying is also preceding apace, the second board is mostly finished, and the third board well underway. Here, you can see Richard, (the new boy), Mike, Simon, and Mark hard at work. In the foreground you can see the TTU, (Tethered Testing Unit), Mike's re-wheeled Jinty chassis hard wired to a controller that allows for testing the running qualities of new pointwork without all that fiddly wiring nonsense.
     

     
    Hopefully, on the next update, you will be able to see the beginnings of the scenic boards.

    Well last Thursday we had a few guest appearances. Richard, a new member brought along some of his stock, a DJH C2X, (which I absent-mindedly forgot to take a pic of), and a rather nice push-pull, (or as the Southern would have had it; pull-push, ) set built from the Roxey kits:
     

     
    Mike also brought along one of his many projects in progress, but this one a little more unusual - a D&S model of a Cowans Sheldon 15ton steam crane. Quite a neat model, but reportedly let down by rather vague instructions:
     

     
    Rumour has it that various KAG members own the strategic reserve of these kits, so we should be okay for the obligatory breakdown train or two, (or three, or four...).
