  1. Why is this topic which is labelled drifted to discussing GWR coaches? Would those involved please either start a new thread or change the name of this thread. Gordon A
  2. What track are you using on spiral ie nickel silver or steel?
  3. Wrap the wire around a suitable sized drill shank, using pliers to maintain the tension.
  4. At the west end where the track goes to single line, should there be a trap point?
  5. I used a High Level Quad Drive unit that gives you four wheel drive with a bit of rock in one axle.
  6. If you have prepainted the chairs and sleepers, then you are putting a barrier between them which may prevent the glue from working. I always glue my chairs to plywood or plastic sleepers before painting. I have not had any problems with butanone doing it this way. Gordon
  7. Not Hornby Dublo but Triang Hornby, after Triang took over Hornby Dublo.
  8. Most people put uncoupling magnets at the toe of the points.
  9. Thank you for your reply. I will let Mike E know I will be after a kit. Gordon A
  10. 1) Are there half etched lines around the axle holes to facilitate fitting of High Level horn guides and blocks? 2) An extra layer for the coupling rods so they can be built with a knuckle joint? 3) What gauges is the kit designed for? Best of luck with this project. Gordon
  11. A site visit is definitely worthwhile. The main station building is still standing, now a cafe and the signal box.
  12. A bigger letter box slot?
