  1. If you use samsung smart switch and move the app between devices do you still need to delete all your locos ?
  2. Thank you Simon. Is printing them yourself from plans on shapeways or similar the only way to get them or does anyone do them commercially ? Sorry for lots of questions.
  3. Evening all. I have some Bachmann STVA car transporters that I am looking to populate. How do 3d printed cars stack up versus Oxford diecast weight wise ? Thanks for any replies. Chris
  4. Ah okay thought it was a bit too good to be true
  5. Just noticed that there are 70 plus new profiles available to download from the previous TTS range.
  6. I think I read earlier in this thread that NCE Powercab won't work with the dongle but happy to be corrected ....as a disappointed NCE Powercab owner.
  7. A very enjoyable show, thank you to organisers and exhibitors. Great trade support too.
  8. Hello, because I changed it to a different number from what it was originally. I hadn't made a note of the original address which is a lesson learnt. But either way it emerges that it is indeed set up for a 4 digit ( I have only ever used short addresses) long address so I overwrote that and now all is well so thank you for your help Nigel.
  9. Hello Nigel, thanks for your help. Before I realised that this might be the issue I changed cv1 to a new address to see if that would help. Do I need to do anything with that as reading it now just returns what I set it to ? Thanks Chris
  10. Hello all I bought a loco yesterday that is unresponsive (loksound 3.5) but I can read cvs. I tried changing the address but no joy. I think it may be set to long address as cv 29 is 38 but how do I work out what the long address is please ?
  11. It hasn't been mentioned but Hornby do a 73 sound project on their new TXS chips. Not sure if they can handle O gauge current especially with Heljan but maybe worth a listen seeing as they are less than half the price and the diesel sounds I have heard so far are pretty good ?
  12. Would be nice if Hornby put out a TXS sound file for the 110. I can live in hope.
  13. It was the same with TTS. Lots of moans that chips went pop but not one of the 15 or so I have gave any trouble. You often found out eventually that they had been wrapped in insulation tape or something else contrary to the instructions.
  14. Hello, thanks for clicking on this topic. I am looking for some guidance on a layout I am building for a friend. I am trying to work out feed and insulated rail joiner locations so would be very grateful for your advice. My friend has a disabled daughter and very rarely gets time to himself to indulge in the hobby so I thought I would build him a small n gauge shelf layout he could put up in his garage. I tried to keep the track plan simple as I am used to working in oo and only use dead frog points but have a few live frog n gauge points to hand. On my pic the yellow indicates where I think I need Insulated rail joiners and red is for power feeds. Any and all advice gratefully accepted. Thanks Chris
  15. Bure Valley models appear to have the most competitively priced stock if you are looking to buy more. No connection just a satisfied customer.
  16. Enjoyed this show very much. Was there early doors and managed to pick up some bargains. Quality of layouts and range of traders was excellent. Have been to this show before and have to say this was the best it's been. Parking a nightmare so hopefully that can be looked at for next time. We'll done to the GRES.
  17. Daft question I know but you haven't pressed function 1 by accident ? Chris
  18. Thanks Matt but I think they would likely sell a whole underframe.
  19. Hello all. I picked up a tug for a bargain price but it has a little cosmetic damage. Specifically a bit of underframe detail missing. Now I have seen it I can't unsee it. Does any one have any suggestions as to what I could use to replace it ? I have looked at my other 60 and whilst I don't mind having a go it looks a bit complicated. Pic below. Thanks. Chris
  20. Hi Cravensdmufan, from what I have read elsewhere there is zero carry across from TTS to the new TXS but I think one of the team involved in developing will confirm.
