    So, two choices on my watched items on Ebay tonight - do I go for the JLTRT Class 24 kit or shall I bid on the life-gauge Sprint Blue Fiat Coupe 20 Valve Turbo instead?

    Has just taken his eldest on his first preserved line trip - Blue Anchor to Minehead and back followed by scrambled egg on toast at the Driftwood Cafe - he loved it!

      Ah, the Driftwood Cafe - I remember it well... cold, winter Sundays in 1981 in the signalbox, a mere two trains a day, with long periods in between of contemplating the murky images of distant fishing boats riding the still, quiet foggy waters of the Bristol Channel.... the Driftwood cafe was the only place around to get anything warm to eat!
