  1. Morning 37403, Sorry to hear about the issues with your loco. i have sent you a pm.
  2. Afternoon Melly, Due to the complex nature of the lighting functions, you will need a specially programmed decoder for the Class 56 in DCC operation. We recommend a properly programmed ESU Lokpilot 59619 decoder. We are currently finalising the file with ESU and will then be in a position to supply, most likely through our retailers. If you could please bear with us, however, we hope to have news on that over the next few days. Thank you for your kind comments and to everyone that has posted positive feedback.
  3. Evening Fortesejunction, sorry to hear about the missing name plates. Can you please email cavalexmodels@gmail.com and then we can arrange to get a replacement set sent out to you? Hope that helps.
  4. Good afternoon, Sorry to hear about the issues that you are experiencing. I have just sent you a pm.
  5. Hi Peter, sorry to hear about the loose part on your 56. I have just replied to your email.
  6. Hi Paul, Really pleased to hear that you like your 093, I think that could possibly be my favourite! I notice in the second photo that you posted it appears that one of the handrails is missing, can you please check and confirm? Apologies if it is but we can get you a replacement sent out in the post. Hope that helps.
  7. Good morning Keith, We will speak with Rails today and come back to you. Hope that helps.
  8. Evening NTrains, Just sent you a PM. We will get this sorted for you. Hope that helps.
  9. There was a very nice pairing on the logs yesterday captured here by Alex Ayre (Flickr link):
  10. I have to confess that for me, not a huge Grid fan if truth be told........Original Railfreight is my favourite livery for 56s. Whilst I didn't mind Red Stripe Railfreight, I preferred Original Railfreight. I hope Cavalex release 56002 in Original Railfreight at some point!!! Anyway, back on subject, 56019. 56008 was my favourite, but there is something rather special about 019. It just looks superb. But then again, I do like 093, 120, 077, 023, 091, 018, 055, 046, 098, 081, 049, 070, 074, 097......... Like you Norski, we are extremely excited!!! Thanks to everyone that has supported the project so far, we are very grateful.
  11. MAKING TRACKS FOR CHRISTMAS AT BLAKEMERE VILLAGE Yesterday we had a very enjoyable day out at Cheshire Outdoors at Blakemere Village with Making Tracks 3. Our thanks to Pete Waterman, Chris Clenton, and the Railnuts team for allowing us to give our production models of 56019 and 56081 a run out on Milton Keynes, they looked right at home on the layout!
  12. We would like to wish all of our customers and followers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. 2023 has been a busy year for Cavalex and we would like to thank everyone that has supported us over the past year. We are looking forward to 2024 in which we will see the arrival of our Class 56 and the development of numerous projects, both announced and unannounced. Merry Christmas!
  13. A quick update on the Class 56 project, we are very excited to advise that the models are currently enroute to the UK and are due into port mid-January. Following customs clearance and internal QC, delivery to retailers will happen in due course.
  14. I hope so Peter, could do with a few! Like this one: And then maybe a few Donny versions: I remember seeing the Western Region examples on aggregate workings when on jaunts out of Paddington.
  15. DCRAIL 56091 A big thank you to DCRail for hosting us this week to compare our painted sample of 56091 with the real thing! Come and visit our stand (stand number C55) at the Warley exhibition this weekend to see the production Class 56 models.
