  1. Good afternoon Markn and NG, Sorry for the delay in replying. The PHA/JGA wagons are currently in production, we are expecting them to arrive in the U.K. before the end of the year, subject to the factory and shipping. We will of course provide updates as and when we have more information on progress from the factory. I hope that helps.
  2. Thanks to DB Cargo U.K., we recently had a very enjoyable day out at Toton depot. Look out for more content from our visit coming soon….
  3. Continued testing of our Class 60 has been taking place whilst we await pre-production samples from the factory. 60049 looked excellent this week on a rake of BBAs - a big thank you to the Railnuts and Making Tracks team for hosting us and testing the Class 60s. More news to come on the Class 60 project over the next few days!
  4. DEMU SHOWCASE 2024 We had a great time at DEMU Showcase last weekend - a big thank you to everyone that visited our stand and the show organisers for a great time at the show! It was excellent to show off our painted Class 60 samples, and put them to work on Deadmans Lane. Thanks to Jack Taylor for this excellent photo of the GBRF example. We’re looking forward to attending the Rails Of Sheffield shop event tomorrow - if you’re in the area, please do come and say hello! Our decorated Class 60 samples will be available for visitors to view.
  5. Morning 37403, Sorry to hear about the issues with your loco. i have sent you a pm.
  6. Afternoon Melly, Due to the complex nature of the lighting functions, you will need a specially programmed decoder for the Class 56 in DCC operation. We recommend a properly programmed ESU Lokpilot 59619 decoder. We are currently finalising the file with ESU and will then be in a position to supply, most likely through our retailers. If you could please bear with us, however, we hope to have news on that over the next few days. Thank you for your kind comments and to everyone that has posted positive feedback.
  7. Evening Fortesejunction, sorry to hear about the missing name plates. Can you please email cavalexmodels@gmail.com and then we can arrange to get a replacement set sent out to you? Hope that helps.
  8. Good afternoon, Sorry to hear about the issues that you are experiencing. I have just sent you a pm.
  9. Hi Peter, sorry to hear about the loose part on your 56. I have just replied to your email.
  10. Hi Paul, Really pleased to hear that you like your 093, I think that could possibly be my favourite! I notice in the second photo that you posted it appears that one of the handrails is missing, can you please check and confirm? Apologies if it is but we can get you a replacement sent out in the post. Hope that helps.
  11. Good morning Keith, We will speak with Rails today and come back to you. Hope that helps.
  12. Evening NTrains, Just sent you a PM. We will get this sorted for you. Hope that helps.
  13. There was a very nice pairing on the logs yesterday captured here by Alex Ayre (Flickr link):
  14. I have to confess that for me, not a huge Grid fan if truth be told........Original Railfreight is my favourite livery for 56s. Whilst I didn't mind Red Stripe Railfreight, I preferred Original Railfreight. I hope Cavalex release 56002 in Original Railfreight at some point!!! Anyway, back on subject, 56019. 56008 was my favourite, but there is something rather special about 019. It just looks superb. But then again, I do like 093, 120, 077, 023, 091, 018, 055, 046, 098, 081, 049, 070, 074, 097......... Like you Norski, we are extremely excited!!! Thanks to everyone that has supported the project so far, we are very grateful.
  15. MAKING TRACKS FOR CHRISTMAS AT BLAKEMERE VILLAGE Yesterday we had a very enjoyable day out at Cheshire Outdoors at Blakemere Village with Making Tracks 3. Our thanks to Pete Waterman, Chris Clenton, and the Railnuts team for allowing us to give our production models of 56019 and 56081 a run out on Milton Keynes, they looked right at home on the layout!
