  1. Layout all wired up, not a bad for first project entirely unassisted. Now off for some serious Testing (Playtime) :-D

  3. What a 25th Birthday - spent several hours in the garden today, basking in the sunshine. Cutting, Sanding & priming the Plywood for the summer budget BLT project. Happy Birthday me!

  5. Feels inspired to start the O Gauge adventure after being criticised from an Armchair observer that I am "Not a real modeller, because I don't hammer everything out of sheet brass... but use RTR components"

Amazed at the cynical and petty commentary that come out of railway modellers mouths. Shame on that armchair modeller.

  6. Is it bad to want a new layout to play with when the current one is unfinished...?

I've just had a brilliant BLT idea... but Minories is incomplete... :-(

  7. Went out for some 7mm Scale Points... came back with a 4mm scale MLV which is whizzing around the loop running in. Strange day...

It was just all the buildings!

      Sorry.

  9. Testing the neat PVA Ballasting technique... I think I've not done it right however :D

  10. Guess who is a happy boy... Weekend Off; Postie arrived with Hudswell Clarke... off to solder droppers to some track. O Gauge looks like bliss.

  11. Officially worst day off ever...

  12. Why is it when I am dreaming and I have to get a train its either a 4-CIG or 1938 Tube Stock... and if its a nightmare its a 4-VEP...

  13. Odd... there is no way the #1 pin on this decoder & in this tender can go together; Stop... its time for a brew and wait for all this to blow over.

  14. Ahh 'bus travel as George Shillibeer intended; top deck, windows down, summer breeze, engine on the rev limiter - no other passengers on board watching the glorious English Rolling countryside passing by, travelling by bus Like a Sir!

Large Logo Class 73 Ray... Oh dear. I blame Richard. :D

  17. I hate it when I am told something cannot be done... More so when I HAVE seen it done & operational. There is no such word as "can't"negativity is just a challenge.

  18. Is unpopular in the house today... might be the amount of O Gauge trackwork littering the floor in an attempt to get a Micro Shunting Layout. :-D

Trying to keep the base & post together is challenge enough. Right now it might go back into the box...

  20. Modelling can be trying... adding headcode disks to the Well Tank... Glue turns the disks into what looks like chewing gum = one large sticky mess to scrape off the loco...

  21. Aha! Another Loco gets "chipped" was a tight squeeze... but then again that's what she said!
