    I did wonder if that’s where it was as it looks like the A6 in the distance. It was just that the dynamometer car is at the rear of the train. Thanks for the clarification

    The views around Stenson Junction have changed considerably since 1976. The power station and coal sidings have long since closed and disappeared. The only things still standing from Willington PS are the cooling towers, due supposedly to Peregrines nesting.

    ‘ At least it’s not Apple Green. Not a big fan of that livery. Looking forward to seeing an in steam line up of A1 A2 A3 & A4 at some point in the future, 2025 in the North East perhaps 😉

    Hi David Great images as always. J4394 above of the Deltic. I don’t think it is 55015 as that is Tulyar, the one in the image is a two line nameplate. No idea which one though.

    J5846 even has a couple of 08’s and what looks to be a class 44 in the background. Always plenty of variety of locomotives around back in the seventies at Toton.

    Never mind the stereo, I like the fact you have 3 EM2’s in blue with the double arrows on the side. A good mix of stock there.
