Anybody who has purchased the GBRf Battle of Britain 73109, were etched plates supplied ?
I had none with mine, thanks in advance,

There may even be some samples.
Can you advise on a suitable decoder for these models please, thanks in advance.
-
I'd also like to see a DB Maritime one, plus the PD Ports, and finally an ex DRS 66'4, possibly 66413 in G&W for hauling container trains please.

Looking for a Hornby R4967 or /A DRS Mk2F Brake 2nd Open Coach.
Excellent boxed condition only please.

I've pre-ordered, presume it will come at the same time as 59003 !!
Will be interesting to see how well it sells, I hope it does for KMRC sake, but the Bachmann 66 in the Aggregates livery was a really slow mover...

Thanks, thats what I initially thought until I saw this photograph.
Its the ROS pack, agree, quality is a bit poor to be honest !
Also found this video...

Ive noticed an issue with the self fit Locking Bars on the Dapol High Cube Container Packs.
Assuming the fit is correct the actual locking mechanism on one side is higher / lower than the other side.
The moulded bars on the RH standard container appear to have been done correctly.
How have others approached this.

A PD Ports and DB Maritime one would suffice !!

I have 37423 non sound, lovely model, but is the headlight over the cab independently controlled like on the Class 92, mine doesn't illuminate on F0, and I have no function list with mine.
So it's going to be a case of trying all the functions.
I know it was F23 on the Class 92, appreciate any help.
Thanks

I was really hoping that there would be another run of the Greenenergy tanks, but sadly not de-branded.
Bought three packs first time round.
Will just have to keep looking for second hand one's !

Hi Martin.
nothing on my two. Ive run them in and they are now on the main layout with no issues.
you dont mention whether or not its running gear of motor ???
I believe it's the running gear
Here is a sound file...

Has anyone suffered any noise issues from the running gear at all...?

Its quite fiddly but I found the easiest way to connect the wagons is to push and clip the bar onto one wagon, put them onto the track. Locate the bar against the pin on the other wagon and gently push the wagons together.
Agree, nicely detailed and run really well and smooth without wobble.

Anyway isn't this the 59 thread?
Absolutely right and I think Dapol have made a great Job of my 59206 in DB. All running sweetly so glad I went with the DCC fitted version.

Only 701 got a repaint in the original livery, but they updated the branding to use the later lettering style.
Jo
Actually, 66701 never got painted from it's original livery, just been going through Flickr, it also carried yellow Whitemoor plates like the Bachmann model when it was first released.
But your absolutely right in terms of the modification back from Europort, the band on the top is just within the blue section of the bodyside.

There are quite a few, especially the higher numbered one's when the imports were repainted.
I think 781, 782, 795, 798 and 799 are.

That's the Europorte livery, it was repainted in early 2020 (IIRC) into the current GBRF livery.
Understand, there are a few GB 66's I believe that have been repainted back into the original GB livery.

Mine states they are processing, which has been the case for two weeks. I understand the backlog but seems strange, no emails either way.
Paid in full when ordered in June 2020.

Well, I am going to wait a bit longer in case there's a current livery 59003 appear. If not then it will be FL even though it's out of region. I'll just squint as it goes past and pretend it's a 66.
Did you mean 59003 in GBRf ?
Aren't Gaugemaster commissioning this...

TTS decoders are only 8 pin so far but Hornby may announce something soon, HST ones are out of stock in most places but the are bargain Valenta ones to be had.
Most suppliers of full blown sound decoders e.g. ESU or Zimo will be able to provide them with most interface types
I have purchased the 8 pin TTS set for thesewithout realising, apart from buying a 21 pin sound decoder the other option is to fit a 21 to 8pin adapter but there's not a lot of room above the socket.
-
Anyone sound fitted the new power cars ?
Is there a 21pin sound decoder for Valenta engines
-
Surprised there is no aggregate spearmint livery, although I believe the Bachmann 66 in the same colour scheme hung around for ages, unless it comes as a special edition from someone.
