  1. That looks very good John. The primer will show up the alignment (etc) and that looks spot on to me. 👍
  2. I think the packaging is your friend here Mol. M5s and nearly all the half tracks used by British forces (M9, M14) had a curve where the body side joined the rear face, (If indeed these are destined for British and Commonwealth forces). US forces used an awful lot of M3 and M3A1 half tracks which are square at the back. The mudguard at the rear has this curve. The packaging disguises this and that around the top will also help. Very interesting pic, thanks for posting.
  3. The GWR Saint, Court and Ladies are glaring omissions from the big green loco lists. They would be hotly pursued by Bulldogs and Birds. GE modellers are way overdue a decent E4, GC fans J10, C13 and D9 and NE and Scottish steam fans just about anything at all. ex LNWR 4-4-0s. It looks like Dapol are staring to address the lack of GWR pre grouping coaches, there are so many opportunities for all the other companies. I agree we are spoiled though..... 😆👍
  4. Were there not plenty of unlined clerestories in both brown and cream and brown around in the mid thirties? I don't think you need worry about full lining John.
  5. Compared to the Hornby clerestories, it looks like both of these examples have had all (2nd photo) or most (1st) of the beading around and between the door vent hoods removed?
  6. That C10 looks in pretty good nick considering its age and the date (use during another WW). Just one door without beading. There were a lot of them.
  7. This is all looking pricey. Very pricey. Already ordered an early pannier, but that's just the first run.....
  8. They will obviously need a Saint to pull these....... hat, coat, 💫 💥🏃‍♂️
  9. I'm prepared to stick my neck out here Darius and say I don't think anyone has ever come even close to building the MTK Wickham as well as that. Considering what you started with that is really special. Well done you, Best wishes Alastair M
  10. I think this is a great project. I can't wait to see a finished coach, but no pressure! 🙂👍
  11. These were bought just as these models hit the shops. They are mint, well boxed and stored. There are LH and RH Brake and Composites. R4679 - R4683. Can include Mainline Siphon G - nice boxed example.
  12. If you Google oo works you will find their website, which gives plenty of useful info. They have been around since 2001 and produce rtr limited runs of the kind of locos the big manufacturers don't often do. Currently they are gearing up to make The Aspinall 27, they have done quite a few LSWR types, GC C13 4-4-2 tanks etc. There are good photos of previous models on the site. Alastair M
  13. A very happy birthday to you, 🥂🍹🍻
  14. Broome Hall is a cracker too John. 👍
  15. Ex GC C13 or a J10 for me please. Oh and of course a Saint....
  16. Lovely stuff John, hope you're feeling better. Alastair M
  17. Tony, didn't you also run a GC special for the GCRS a few years back? Best wishes, Alastair M
