  1. Don't forget that, as well as the O gauge layouts and trade support, there's a full range of full size Diesel & Electric locos on site this weekend too! Locomotive Services Limited will kindly be supporting the show by supplying part of their heritage traction fleet for display - currently this is intended to be 20118 and 20132 in their freshly repainted Railfreight Red Stripe guise. Locomotives and Units on site include 03073 20118* 20132* 37108 43018 43081 87035 90050 91120 Class 370 APT
  2. Thanks to LSL and DRS, 47712, 37401 and 88001 will be on display as part of the Modern Image O Gauge Model show this weekend. Tickets are £10 on the door and include access to the full Crewe Heritage Centre site and model show. More info here: https://www.modernimageogauge.co.uk/exh ... -2023.html
  3. It is, they relocated a couple of years(?) back.
  4. Have you contacted them directly?
  5. Thanks Alex, I've found it but it appears to be a 21 pin, whereas on the Locoman website it says 8 pin and speaker cables. Sorry if I'm being thick! :-) what is best to buy if I'm looking for a decoder to hardwire a loco that draws max 1 amp, has wires for hard wiring and speaker wires? Thanks Dave
  6. Thanks, one further question if I may! The SD22A-2 8-Pin decoder doesn't appear to be covered in the manual - is this suitable for hardwiring IE separate wires on the 8 pin adapter and pre-fitted speaker cables? Thanks, Dave
  7. Do these projects (and D&H decoders in general) have an auto adjust BEMF function similar to CV54 on an ESU decoder?

Is it not just the amendments to the tooling for the Pullman HST headlight rather than a totally new model?
  9. It's definitely not a car from the IoM.
  10. You'll probably find a Combi is underpowered for Heljan's twin-motored O gauge locos, split gear or not.
  11. Whilst they're a relatively new name they're not the most hidden. Check out this section on this very forum https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/331-accurascale-irish-railway-models/
  12. I doubt its the gear issue as this mainly affects older Heljan locos and hasn't really been present in their newer toolings. I've had no gear issues with the 25s. Have a look inside and see if the driveshafts have come out. They should just clip back into place.
  13. Jamie Goodman's chip is an unrefurbished 37/0. The Legoman "Wensleydale 37/4" chip is recorded from 37674 (which is a 37/5) and is ideal for 37/4s, 37/5s and 37/7s. 37/4s have the higher speed tickover when supplying ETH to the train, otherwise theres no sound difference between 37/4, 37/5 and 37/7. None of the sound projects I've had are specific enough to have this higher tickover included although its possible to simulate it with DriveHold. Most suppliers list their 'refurbished' sound projects as 37/4s but they're suitable for all refurbished 37s from 37401 to 37899. No connection, just a satisfied guy with a lot of sound fitted 37/4s and 37/5s and experience of the real things to tell the difference :-)
  14. Hi guys, have tried it with both short (3) and long (8709) addresses with no success. I've not used 8709 on the set before. I've also tried the decoder on a Lokprogrammer / ESU decoder tester with no issues, so it's pointing towards the Lenz set being at fault here? Dave
