Got back home to York after a most enjoyable show, well worth the long trip. Outwell had a lot of very nice comments. Thanks to the all the organising team for all their hard work in putting on an excellent show -
Outwell village is packed in the car ready for the trip to the show, looking forward to a good weekend.Hope to see plenty of people come and have a chat.

Outwell Village all stored away after a great weekend at the Perth Exhibition. We had lots of good comments and conversations with members of the public. Thanks to Stan and his team for the invite, and for the hospitality from the Outwell team

Sorry I have not replied sooner to the questions has Steve 1 indicated I have been rather busy at work and away at Eurospoor in the Netherlands. Outwell is due to appear at the York show at Easter and Huddersfield later in 2016

Just under a week to go before the Ely show, layout checked over. Looking forward to taking the layout almost to its place of inspiration. Hope to take a look at where the line used to be on the way down to the exhibition

Thanks for the very kind comments, glad that you like our efforts. We have enjoyed building the layout. If you would like to see it in the flesh, it will be at Ely in May, DEMU at the end of May, Pickering in August and High Wycombe in November.

More work done on the guards van, hand rails and door handles are all complete. I have now started on the ducket end and building up the body.

Another addition to the stock for Outwell Village, this time a Special Guards Van No16. Again this is a D & S kit. I have started with the detail on the sides, fitting the centre panels door hinges and vents. Steps on the end and drop down windows on both. Next job is to fit the hand rail to the end, and door handles to the sides and the other end.

The two horse boxes are now almost finnished, they need varnishing and some more decals when I aquire them. Also a Great Western Mink van. This is a Cooper craft kit.

The horsebox is now painted in it's primer coat along with the other one which I have built to run on Outwell

I must confess that I have not done the painting of the backscene, that was down to Neil Ripley. He has done an excelent job. The backscene starts after the shop on the left of the street.

some photo's of the upgrades to Outwell Village, Waterfowl taking up residence in the sunken house boat. Two new additions to the loco fleet. The layout in exhibition mode.

They certainly are Jonathan, took me two attempts before I was happy with it then had to fill parts where it still didn't match up. Martin, Outwell will be at the East Anglian show in March, DEMU maybe in July and Midland Railex in August.

Addition to the stock for Outwell in the form of a D&S kit of a N.E.R. Horse box ready for the paint shop and then the glazing.
