80 years today, 15th.Sep., since the second day of the GWR's accelerated schedule for the 'Cheltenham Flyer'. 5000 'Launceston Castle' (again) went even quicker, according to the guard's log, than yesterday's start-to-stop average of 77.8mph for the 77.3 miles from Swindon to Paddington. What will tomorrow bring?
