  1. Hello Rick,

Noticed you were AWOL and hopefully you are only on a "walk-about", mate and not ill, home-sick, mentally detained or in prisonlaugh.gif Looking forward to more Posts on Penhayle Bay. Take Care,

    Kind Regards,

    Michael Thornberry.

  2. Hello Rick,

Excellent Pics of the "Clay & Milk Wagons". I'm modelling early 1900's. Could you possibly advise regards model-wagon type(clay) for that era and who manufactures them, and what "steamer(s)" would pull them? Looking forward to the Viaduct Re-build,

    Kind Regards,

    Michael Thornberry.

  3. Hello Rick,

Excellent modelling and description of modelling method. Many Thanks. Good Luck with your Viaduct Re-Build. Looking Forward to seeing this develop,

    Kind Regards,

    Michael Thornberry.

  4. The connection with the down Voyager is intentional as well. See 3m 20s of the same link!

    Thank you kindly

    Hello Rick,

Nice to see your continued modelling on your excellent Lay-out. The installation of lighting has created some effective results. In respect of my Lay-out I have completed the Shed and finished the Lay-out boards (16ft long x 11ft 8 inches wide)

The Combined 75 Gauge and 55 Gauge Tracking is next on the Menu, plus I need to make an elongated S shaped viaduct, measuring 8ft, in Double-tracked N Gauge. Take Care and Speak to you later,

    Kind Regards,

    Michael Thornberry.

  5. Hello Rick,

Many Thanks for that Australian warm-weather up-date. Could do with some of your excessive heat over here. Shed fitting-out is progressing bit by bit. I'll keep an eye-out for your up-dates. Kind Regards,

    Michael Thornberry,

    Weardale.

  6. Penhayle Bay has been brought over to the new site because it is now possible to do so in the board rather than the blog format.

Hello Gwiwer - Glad to see that you have transferred this great Lay-out to the NewWeb - Currently finishing the fitting-out of a 20ft x 16ft Shed and then I will commence modelling a fictitious Kernow Joint Railway(GWR - LSWR - S&DJR) based around St. Erth, Marazion and Penzance. I spent most of my School Holidays in Cornwall (1940's/50's), hence my specific interest in Kernow. My late Father was a Fitter/Turner at Shildon Wagon Works (BR) near my home town of Darlington, County Durham. Looking forward to further up-dates on your Lay-out,

    Kind Regards,

    Michael Thornberry.
