Preserved Steam Railways, volunteer on the Bluebell for past thirty years. Have been employed as painter and fitter in the C&W Dept, so have a reasonable knowledge of Southern and constituents carriages.
I am a Railway Artist, being a full member of the Guild of Railway Artists. I run a small art gallery at Horsted Keynes Station in a restored Southern GBLVan No 2462 which is open most Saturdays between Easter and end October and on the whole weekend for special events. I have done a lot of the Poster art work for the Bluebell since 1996 and have had work published in a number of periodicals and books, notably Locomotives Illustrated.
Hi, Sorry not to have visited my page and replied to your note, I will have a look at what might have been done. I wonder who of the constituents would have wanted a 2-8-0, but I'm presuming a small class for the Kent coalfields, so a modified N class?
