  2. is pondering seperating out a workbench 'topic' from the blog, which was really meant be about the layout. Should it be in Forum: Layout and Workbench Content, Group: 2mm Finescale, or as a separate Blog.

  3. Is very excited to have a footplate ticket for the 11am departure from Alresford tomorrow.

Yes the RSU can be used with one hand, you still need the other 3 to hold everything in the right place!!!!

Only if you have a footswitch. Otherwise you need two hands. The procedure is -- 1. apply electrode to parts firmly. 2. switch on current. 3. switch off current. 4. wait a second. 5. remove electrode.

I made it with a foot switch.

  5. It's a very slippery slope. Today, in between watching Olympics and doing chores I've been scouring the Internet for reasonably priced 150s. :-/

  7. Just finished what will possibly the last paint spraying I'll manage this year.

  8. just found the little arrow centrally in the footer at the bottom of every page of the site. That will save a lot of time scrolling, especially when on the iPad.

Me too, all very inspirational and great pictures.

  10. Layout rewire almost complete. Just the crossing switches to wire once the TOUs are linked up.

  11. Likes the 'go to first unread' doesn't like that followed content does not appear where it used to (top right) and I have to click through to it and filter. Swings and roundabouts.

I agree and further more the followed content filter does not seem to work anyway.

  13. Lined an MR OCT last night. Not sure whether the ends should have lining too, whether I should have left it all off, or if I should be sectioned?

Patience people: they still need their loads finishing and the under frames need more work. I might have to buy some powders. On a related note why do GW washes smell like sick?

Pete, I have my next blog entry part written but it's really not for the feint hearted - it involves easitrac switch butchery.

  16. Managed to assemble the lower footboards for 5 horseboxes while cooking dinner this evening. Now that is what I call multi-tasking!

Andy, You won't have to wait that long, though I hope to have a couple of things finished especially for such a wondrous occasion.

Phil, It's different to a mogo. Whilst I haven't had to go digging in the gloat box(es) or cupboard stash I am clearing real estate previously occupied by a collection of stuff that has been started and left.

Jerry, You have to make your own call whether pets are permissible but I'm not sure full flow would be desirable for an animal, o...
