Elite boards are all made from birch ply with a 9mm top and frames from 12mm. They will make boards to the spec and size you require and ship boards complete and made up not as a kit. best to contact and ask for a quote.. very pleased with there product hope this helps

There is an issue with some older DCC control software where the number is offset by 5, this is a known issue with Lenz and Z21, the software needs to be updated to get rid of the issue, so address 1 => 5, 2 => 6 etc, so everything might still be working perfectly, its just the numbers need shifting up by 5 to make them work. It worked on several layouts I have built, although you do need to reprogram them all if you upgrade the DCC controller software.  Hope this helps

Look at the wheel flanges, we had a set with flanges like razor blades and they picked every point blade in sight. Swopped the wheels with a Bachman set and checked back to back run like a dream since.
