  1. Hi. sorry for the delay. I have uploaded the STL files to Thingyverse. have fun :-) search for rumpustrain
  2. Hi again, forgot to add that the control panel in the picture above is removable, so that it can be painted and then inserted. I will also upload the stl files to Thingyverse when I get time. also need to find the appropriate paint in acrylic. Phoenix do it in enamel, but I prefer water based paint. TTFN :-)
  3. Hi all, sorry for the long period of nothingness, been decorating. I would just like to issue a warning for anyone thinking of plastering their ceiling without eye protection....DON'T DO IT. Wet plaster with a PH of 11 - 13 in your eye is not very nice, also my trip to A & E at 2 AM in the morning was not very pleasant either. Anyway back to 3D printing. I did receive the Dapol spine wagon set for my Birthday and so set about redesigning the RHTT bits to fit. They need a little bit of a clean up and then, when I get a few moments spare, a coat of blue paint. I have ordered a set of transfers from Railtec (£14.50 gasp!) and will fix these when I pluck up the courage. That's all for now. Take care.
  4. Hi again, just an update on the resin printed MWA wagons. Only printed four so far....another four to go! Just stuck the man there for scale. I had a fiddle with the original bogies and removed the flat top. I also had a fiddle with the shock absorber mounts, but probably too small to see. Also downloaded these the other day. Oxy-Acetylene bottles and a compressor. Had a fiddle with the compressor to make it less toy like, as it had 5 spoke alloy wheels!
  5. Hi njee20, thank you for the heads up regarding the yellow graphic.
  6. Hi Moonter, Thank you for providing the link. I didn't know how to :-(
  7. Thank you for the offer, but I am doing the "standard?" MWA with the rectangular sign. I have had a go at designing it on Microsoft Word and it looks ok. Just need to print it onto decal paper and give it a go. I will remove the green background and print onto clear decal paper. Your MWAs look good. I used to model in N gauge, but it was a bit too small for my sausage fingers and my eyes.
  8. Hi njee20, Thank you for the link to the bogies. I am presently reprinting the MWA wagons in resin, as I am not happy with the layer lines of the FDM printer. Just waiting for the first one to finish as I type., so may have a go at designing the correct bogies if I can find the time.
  9. Also check that the Z-axis motor turns freely. My prints kept failing and it turned out that some resin had found it's way into the top bearing and it was struggling to turn. I replaced the bearings in the motor and the prints stopped failing. To prevent this happening again, I printed a small collar from Thingiverse that blocks most of the Z-axis hole. My printer is an Elegoo, but shouldn't be to hard to design one for the Anycubic.
  10. Hi njee20, Thank you for specifying the correct bogies, but these were the ones that came in the MWA package from Thingiverse. I am not able to find an stl file for the ordinary TF-25 bogies and my design skill are not quite up to making my own.
  11. With regard to the 3D printing, I have started a new topic in that section..."Layout in a shed Part 2 - 3D printing".
  12. Hi alangdance I have uploaded the servo mount and the 16 Ton Mineral wagon to Thingiverse. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask (not sure how to answer on Thingiverse, so here may be best) Have fun.
  13. Please be aware that I can only submit the ones I have designed, as the others are a paid download from Cults,
  14. Hi again, Sorry, didn't confirm which ones you wanted added. I have added the RHTT bits to Thingiverse, but as I am a new user, it waits 24 hours before adding them for download. "Rail Head Treatment Train Components" As I said above, It is not an accurate copy, just my version taken from photographs. I am a "it looks ok" kind of modeller. If you want any others, just let me know on this forum.
  15. Hi alangdance, I can try to add them to Thingiverse. I will update this thread if I am successful.
