Quick question, is there a closing date for preorders?

Might be flogging a dead horse here, but what about another run of the 00 TEA wagons, appreciate they aren't a "new" model, but I can see another run being snapped up instantly.

It looks like GWR are still having to make other short notice changes; For example, on the 16th August the 0514 Worcester SH-Paddington was a 9-car set, 802108; Yesterday it was a 3-car 165 running to Reading only, which appears to be a variation for this week.
With that specific one, the plan is 80X MO through to Paddington, 16X MSX to Reading. So that is "baked" into the plan.

On your first post you mention about HST’S, they did run empty very early In the morning from ST Phillips Marsh to Hereford via Severn Tunnel, Maindee Junction (just east of Newport) and up the Marches line (through Pontrilas) to Hereford. To form the first train to Paddington, and empty from Hereford south to Bristol in the evening.
Developing on this slightly, for a time (certainly by 2009 these had stopped) there were two early weekday morning FGW service (formed HST) that started from Abergavenny and ran north to Hereford then to Paddington.
Starting from Abergavenny at 05.11 and 06.09 which was "The Cathedrals Express".- 3

Afternoon all,
I received a lovely sound-fitted 73109 in NSE livery (from Dapol) for Christmas, however there was no list of the sound functions in the box, does anyone have a copy they could PM over to me? As I'm rather guessing at the moment! A trawl of the Dapol website has also yielded no luck in finding the list.
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone got any tips regarding which decoder to buy for the new 33/0s? I've tried a couple of Gaugemaster chips (between 1A and 1.8A max) which all get very warm, so I'd be keen to find a decoder that didn't threaten to burn a hole through the roof!

I binged the first 7 videos during the week and then caught up with video 8 yesterday, fantastic.
As Steve said, as good as the manual is, seeing practical demonstrations of how iTrain works really does help whet the appetite to get it and makes you think "this is for me", so thank you (and Iain) for putting these together.
Looking forward to the rest of the videos!

Hello all,
I'm looking for Lima TEA tanks, not bothered about livery because I intend to repaint them. These seem to be like hens teeth at the moment, so will also consider any that are not in the best condition.
Kind regards,

Hello,
I'm looking for one (or two) RevolutioN Trains OO41101 TEA 100 Tonne Tank Wagons in VTG Red livery, I missed out on these originally and would like to get one or two (that might be surplus to requirements) for the layout that I'm building.
Thanks in advance,
Richard

Back in 2018 SWMBO and myself did Reading to Palermo on the train over the course of two weeks, which included Rome to Palermo in one day towards the end of the trip.
100% worth doing, though no catering so, as per seat61.com, take a picnic, relax and enjoy the lovely scenery go by. The train ferry from Villa San Giovanni to Messina is an added bonus too.

This morning 43002/43198 passed Dawlish at 10:48 on their last GWML journey - Laira to Ely ECS.
Didn't get a screen grab, I hadn't been watching real time trains to see what was approaching.
It's routed through Temple Meads then up to Bromsgrove/Water Orton/Leicester/Peterborough/Ely
43185 and 43018.

What's going on with the rail that's balanced on what looks like temporary wooden(?) blocks in the foreground? 3rd-rail-esque.

Want to add a bogie tank wagon to your container train?: https://flic.kr/p/W6Hd6p
Or seemingly run your train without a tail-lamp...

As an aside (or !)
Here are a couple of shots taken a few years ago.
Running through Totnes. Note the down bay and the crossover on the main. The first long gone and the second moved up past the river bridge when MAS work was done in the 80s
Running into Liskeard. I think that the sidings are now long gone.
Some lovely photos there John. However, I believe the second photo is actually Bodmin Parkway rather than Liskeard.

There are two splitting distant and stop signals either side of Reading, one before the ladder at Ruscombe on the UR (visible from Southbury Lane bridge looking East), and one before Tilehurst East Jn on the DR, alongside the west end of Reading TCD, viewed from Loverock Road: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.4626808,-1.0042766,3a,24.8y,328.68h,93.84t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sN93Er2nRcujvtoYy2rQ3KQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en.

The clarity on those photos jbqfc is stupendous! Great photos.

From the photo on their FB page I can make out the words of what I think is "Air Braked" on the packaging. Along with a 3 letter wagon code ending in A.

Problem is the stripes don't match up and will look awful if done like that on a model.

Bump.
I've just received a Sound Thumper - 1108 in BR Green - for my birthday, and it's a fantastic bit of kit. However, and I don't know whether anyone else has had this problem, but the light blinds and internal lights in the DTC only illuminate in one direction, when the DMBSO is leading. As soon as it's switched to running with the DTC leading the lights/light blinds go out. Would quite like to get the bottom of it, and don't really fancy taking the 'bonnet' up unnecessarily/without some sort of direction.
Any help, greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Richard

I believe there's an abandoned Railfreight liveried OBA sitting in the up sidings at Welwyn Garden City, it's been there for as long as I can remember.
Edit: here you go - OBA -
What was the furthest west these rather attractive 'dogs ever worked west? Thinking, with my Christmas cash, that I may treat myself to one, so would love to know if they every ventured west of the Tamar.
Thanks in advance!

I've just purchased one of the Foster Yeoman 59005's in DC, but will want to convert to DCC when it arrives, an Imperium decoder seems to be the preferred one (not looking to do sound for now), but I'm wondering whether I should order an Imperium 1 (6 function) or Imperium 3 (8 function) for it?
Any advice gratefully received.
