I find it interesting that scale makes a difference (or at least it does to my eyes):
In real life (1:1 scale) I think the darker blue on 828 looks stunning, whereas the lighter blue on 419 doesn't do it for me, but on the OO gauge models of 828 I chose the lighter blue because I preferred it in every shot I saw.
On your larger scale models I would struggle to chose...

Unlike most of the Eastfield 37s, 022 and 033 retained round buffers even after they had the buffer beam cut away, so if you're renumbering the 027 model you may also want to change the buffers.
