Where the blazes is the 2022 wish list poll?
No link, no pop up, the search is as baffled as I am. The thread has been closed to further comments too. I'm off to bed.

YouTube is starting to fill up with reviews of the same TT120 Scotsman pack.
Arghhhhh

All this investment by the trade in TT will only mean more shortages of basic OO scale stuff, like right hand turnouts, track joiners, spare couplings, fencing. All their bread and butter items. You only have to watch Hornby's YouTube channel to understand where their young marketing minds are at. We're doomed.

Have you seen this site Felix. Lots of cool 0 scale stuff.

Hi Felix. That is a great model idea. Just love that!
I spotted their church kit on a small layout watching Youtube this morning. It's already top of my Christmas wish list🤭.
Raining hard here too, so I've been getting into loco building. An ex-Midland 2-4-0 from a Ratio kit, with tons of extra detailing.
There's nothing like a bit of modeling to calm yourself. It's not been a good week.

Botulism? Where the hell, did we get botulism from.

Anything between 4" and 100" of snow forecast for our region over the next week depending on elevation.
Prepare for traffic problems they said. (Interstate 5 was a bumper-to-bumper nightmare in this afternoon's deluge) So looks like we're just gonna have to "Hunker down" for Christmas.

Is it just me?

This is supposed to be a hobby, not an obsession. So why have I just spent two hours trying (and failing) to find out how far up the walls of the cowhouse I'm making the tethering rings should go?

we need a clean workbench campaign for the 1/4/2021. It is amazing what you find under all the stuff.

Feeling right royally down this evening - I have a call tomorrow to look at some software development, I have a ready made solution to the problem I will be faced with but there is another way to do the same thing and I am attempting to get my head around it.
But can I get it to return even the most simple dataset as it should do - no I cannot, spent two days, seen some progress but not enough.
Sometimes I feel like I am a total failure and my imposter syndrome is banging all the drums it can muster at present to make me feel much worse.
Hopefully, now I've said this out loud I will knuckle down and sort it.

The carpet monster has officially driven me insane with its insatiable appetite for 4mm scale buffer shanks.
Luckily I have a supply of spare Cambrian coupling mounts so will procure another bottled ale from the cooler and slice a pair of replacements.

That was easy! Now I can catch up on a few threads in peace.

That's blown it. Mrs. S. has discovered there's a mini fridge in the garage!

Not sure that the Carpet Fairy will accept blame for the tin of Evo Stik missing in the railway room. The search did turn up a tub of Cascamite I lost about two years ago.

I have just found out that 5ltrs of nato green paint is enough to paint 5 lightweight landrovers. 4ltrs left, I might paint the lounge.

To slightly bodge or to go all out and totally bodge it.

On the basis that you cannot be both, would you rather be happy or would you rather be right?

Feeling chuffed after stripping down the motor of a Mainline J72, cleaning if, figuring out where all but one of the little bits should go when reassembling and then finding the whole thing runs as smoothly as modern models.

Anyone know any decent suppliers for European HO, mainly Swiss and German
