  1. I use these ones 86112 and find them fairly reliable.  I hadn't seen the other ones but looking at them am not sure if they would actually drive the motor.  Maybe they are a supplementary indicator of the how the point is switched?

  2. Hi Neil,

Glad you could make it down though I didn't get to talk that  much with 29 other people here.

Let me know how you go with your wagons. I might have some spare Grampus wagon transfers somewhere if you need a few.

    Cheers Peter.

    Hi Peter,

no probs I know how it is.  I've got started on those wagons already.  Also also ordered some transfers from Parkside last night though.

    Cheers

  3. It's not a view I normally get! I had to suspend the phone camera over the tracks and try to see what i was actually getting while still holding it steady.

If you compare this shot with the nearly similar one taken earlier, you can see that the earlier shot served another purpose, in showing me what I couldn't see directly, that a little bit of the brick sheet wasn't stuck down properly under the bridge.

That's a bit of a shame as it's a good view.  Kind of reminds me of coming into some of the London stations.

    Cheers

  4. And not very far at all from myself, P.C.M. and a couple of others.

Does that make us a cluster?

Yes that's right Rick, not too far at all. I could easily walk to Jeff and Doug's places in ten minutes or so.

Not sure what the collective term for a group of railway modellers is but cluster sounds good.

    Cheers

    Neil
