Hi Andy ,Hows baby pod coming on ,How are the  track plans coming to fruition ,i bet you have gone through some pencils, paper and rubbers.Hope your wife is ok. Take care Andy.

Hi Ian, Thanks Wife is o.k. at the moment, but the builders don't move in until the 29th, then all hell will probably break lose. Once done I can make a start re building Baby POD back into a room, re installing my work bench, and building a frame to sit the new Layout on. I will start a thread once done.

WARNIG = The new thread may be under a slightly different name of = Andrew P BODGIT. The reason is a new Lap Top, so I had to set up my pass, and because I already had this one, but originally done via a different E-Mail address it kept telling me that someone was already using that name, YES ME.

Point well taken - but the ambition in a driver is to be the best, and how better than defeating Max in the same car?

Totally agree, but if he did, would Daddy V ensure his car was nobbled? Plus RBR wouldn't want to upset the Golden Egg.

    And also remained civil.

Sainz might find himself at Mercedes or Redbull next season.

NOT Red Bull I would hope, as he would have to be a clear No 2 again.

    Hi Andy.

Sorry not to have seen you at our annual 2 winter meet ups (Alton & Basingstoke).

It strikes me that the L-shaped area you now have available would allow a reincarnation of your Bodmin-esque layout. Albeit your version of it was U-shaped.

I'm wondering if, once you've got all these diesels out of your system you might return to some proper trains and give us a rendition of a 1950s/60s era BLT? Maybe throw in a OO9 line for tourist traffic. 😇

    Cheers for now. Andy

Hi Andy, I can't afford to change stock again, but never say never. I'll have to see how Plan 1 goes first. This time the Layout IS being built to sell, so one never knows whats around the corner. Cheers and I do hope to get to a show soon mate.

Thanks for the video  update Andy. I do hope your wife gets better soon. Shame about Tonleigh yard but as you say family comes first. Having said that I am sure the layout that follows will be as interesting as all the others you've built over the years and I look forward to the updates and videos over time.

Thanks Paul, Sketch pad, pencil and eraser along side my chair, and as Baldrick would say = I have a cunning plan. Hahhah.😁

Another evening of cutting plastic and sploshing MEK got the main building to this stage.

The three sections are now all joined together and quite sturdy.

Excellent, Re my Mock up idea above, you could continue the low relief the full length of the Backscene behind the main Building as well, for 3D depth, i.e. seen over the roof top.

Hi Andy - I don't comment often but it was good to see another video and nice to know that Tonleigh Bridge went to a good home even if it wasn't what you'd planned. Best wishes to Mrs. P and I hope she is improving and that the building works won't be too disruptive. I always enjoy your updates and along with everyone else I'm looking forward to seeing your next build develop!

Thanks very much, and your thoughts appreciated.

Thought I'd have a go at a mock up, the right sort of thing, but too small.

I think it needs to be almost twice the size.

Yes, definitely, I think it should be higher Mark, looking at the Building to the Left, I would say almost as high.

Thanks again, Andy for this thread, and providing me with another layout to lust after.  Not seen your last video yet, but I hope I am not alone in wondering if the new owner will be showing us what is happening to the layout.  I would like to see some Speedlink-style shunting in action...

Thanks, There should be more shunting, Speedlink style on the new project, as I am planning various ideas already. Cheers, Andy.

  12. The FINAL VIDEO from Tonleigh Bridge, I lost count so called it 36 in the Video, but its actually No 35. More to come once BABY POD is completed and the new Layout starts.

Thanks again to you all for your support and comments, and I WILL BE BACK.

    Andy.

  13. Also, regarding the Alonso / Russell incident. Alonso got a penalty but still got points, Russel got nothing.

BUT what is still unknown is whether Russels Car suffered any Engine or Gearbox damage that could cost him to use an extra component from his allocation. If that is the case, (and we wont know until its examined), I think the Stewards should re look at Alonso's penalty, BUT OF COURSE THEY WONT.
