For the first time in a few years Pengwynn Crossing will be out on the road, we've spent the last few weeks getting it ready including stripping and cleaning all the original stock, took most of us back stripping down Lima locos and cleaning them all up, and the not so good memories of removing fibre shards from ends of fingers 😆😆
We did have a bit of a disaster on Tuesday though, in a final test and run through of all the point work and signals, the flaming signals failed not leaving us enough time to replace them, so they have been given white crosses on them to mark them out of use.
