Soar Valley MRC will be attending with their 42ft 'O' gauge layout Charnwood Forest Railway. Looking forward to running it again.

Led's much prefer a regulated power supply, so don't rule that out before sending back.

Shuttle bus direct to venue. Last year it was stand B2 running as service 101. Will someone going early post if its still the same for the rest of us please.

The two lower marker lights were actually built with a red lens that would cover the marker lights. There is a small knob next to each one that moved the lens over the light. A fair amount were removed or painted over.

Old Scotty has now arrived at Shildon. There until 7th Jan.

Not come across a Bachmann Dmu that has switchable interior lights off a separate function. Their either permanently on fed from the track or switched via F0 with the markers.

The cab controls were never wired up in the van end. So shunting only from the forward cab.

They were staffed primarily for the special delivery traffic which had just been introduced. The service I used to work Leicester to Derby was booked for one to travel with it but they were not always so due to staff shortages. A cushy/ steady number for those involved.
