    Hi Paul, I was wondering if you could help me - I would like to fit stay alive capacitors to the latest Bachmann Zimo 6 pin decoder (in Bachmann oo 03 of shunter)  

    36–568A but can’t find any information on this particular version

    it appears to have been updated and the solder pads do not correspond with what is on the Zimo website

    not sure if the extra pad at the bottom is for stay alive - would I need to put a resistor in series with a capacitor?

    any help on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated

      Hi Graham,

      I have little experience of ZIMO non sound decoders and don't recognise the one in your photo.

      Changes have been made to some ZIMO decoders due to component shortages maybe that's the problem.

      Let me know the value in CV250 which will identify it and I can get the information for you.
