It seems to be becoming a regular thing in the last couple of weeks having one or two Skodas parked in the south bay at Rugby during the day, next to the allocated thunderbird 57. It's nice to see! 7th Feb saw 90034 and 90035. At 0745 they had just been parked as I waited for a 350 to Coventry, and still there later that afternoon. I believe they are stabled after arriving in the early hours at Daventry off an overnight Grangemouth train.

Yes, thats right, they drop off the 4M30 load .. and then head back up the line to Rugby, 4M25 passes by later on, and 4S47 ...  they then depart in time to pick up their northbound load for the 4S49 service later on ...

Does anyone know why Backbone was going to Toton ?

I just read on WNXX that it’s heading to Toton for a family and friends event at the depot.

Meanwhile … I’m noticing online that the DCC Ready versions of the Virgin, IC Mainline, RES and EWS are arriving into retailers …
