Some video I took of Orbost at the Diamond Creek show today. This is the first time I had seen this layout in the flesh. SRman Posted April 15, 2017 Share Posted April 15, 2017 I have seen this layout at a couple of past exhibitions, and it is particularly well done. They have not only captured the look one would get from being a long distance away, they have made sure they run at realistic looking speeds. The trains really do disappear into the overall landscape, just as the real ones do if looked at from an aeroplane (try a bit of Google Earth to see the same sort of effects).It is nice to see the video too.
