I take your point and had this been on a scenic layout I would have made more effort to disguise the workings.

 

However, in this case it is the ability to drive servos to operate in several different ways that is on show.

A couple of Scale Model Scenery sheds (LX469), with different colour primers but the same dry brushed paints ( Humbrol 70, 73 & 150).

 

Quite a marked difference in the final colours.

Thanks Stu, hadn't considered the difference between no. 1 and 2 from the left before.

 

The slapping about of paint looks good. There's some nice texture on those walls.
