Cam's loco, I just did the buffer beam cut, he's then had it back for its identity and weathering.

I have been following progress on the FB group.

Cam's finished the paint work on his TTA so it came back to me for buffers and couplings fitting:

And now Steve has done transfers for Paul Rolley's MAA/MAB wagon I have finally also finished that, a write up for this one coming soon but they are available from Pauls website https://www.impressionistmodels.co.uk/ . Shown here in the company of a Buzz Models MEA.

There will be a number of my wagons and bits and pieces on Dovedale & the MIOG stand at Doncaster at the weekend if anyone is going feel free to say Hi.

Run out of glue for the WRD for now, I need to retrieve my large bottle from Dovedale at some point this week so I can crack on. Everything got Dumped at Cam's after Doncaster. Then need to sort out a couple of boards and some track.

Well, few days away and now back to it. last day of leave so I have tidied up the office and having retrieved my glue from Dovedale cracked on with the WRD.

Frame is up with the sides and ends loosely attached. I have run out of Primer but should have an order here tomorrow so they can get painted up.

Unfortunately it seems this kit has a wrong piece in it. It should have an end with a small doorway, not two with the large roller shutter. I have dropped Steve a message to see if I can get the correct part, if not will modify this one.

Two of Paul Rolley's POA Blackadder wagons sit in the shed under maintenance (they actually need some as they had a minor accident!).

Do like that kit and the MAA wagon (was it Buzz models) you did. Its the soldering that puts me off unfortunately.

Will check my WRD to see if I have to like ends, yours looks great.

Steve has already got back to me and its a mistake so hopefully I'll have the correct part sometime next week. Just waiting on my Primer order now and I can crack on with the rest of it.

The MAA/MAB is a Paul Rolley kit so is mainly resin. I'll send you my notes as its not on the website yet. The MEA is a Buzz models kit and is a whitemetal chassis, the build for that is here:

https://www.modernimageogauge.co.uk/buzz-models-mea.html

The bodies are pretty much the same but there were only 5 MAA/MAB wagons built on HAA chassis where as the more numerous MEA's we're build on HEA chassis.

Here we go again! A while ago I picked up another batch of Turbots with the intention of extending my rake and maybe flogging a couple on once I had battered them. Well Cam & I re-assessed our fleets this week so it seemed sensible to get these done. Hopefully won't take long, the last batch I did rolled through the works fairly quickly. Really hope I can keep the current motivation going!

More work on the WRD this week, finally go the shell in paint. I had to go and buy some more primer as my order still hasn't turned up. The front is still loose allowing some of the pictures below, and so is the roof as I am going to modify it so it can be removed at exhibitions as I intend adding various bits of interior. Took it outside for some pictures as the sun is out.

Dapol YCV sat in the WRD, think this is my favourite of the set.

Progress is slow again with starting a new job, but an enforced weekend at home as meant so valuable modelling time has become available. So some more work done on the second back of Dapol YCV Turbots. The first one is nearly ready to go to Cam for a final blast with an air brush and the others aren't far behind, renumbering done and now varnish is drying before starting to put them back together and start the weathering proper. The problem I am having is remembering what I did with the last ones. Original batch on the right and the new WIP on the left.

This week, in between continuing with the Turbots, I have made a start on a second HRA. Dave from Skytrex managed to find some more HTA bits which got handed over at Doncaster. Still need the hoppers and bogies, but the body is now shortened and in one piece, next up filler. Dave is potentially looking to re-release his HTA kit once he has redone some of the master and may well do the HRA as well once I've modified a set of parts for him.

After seeing an inspirational picture in another thread, I managed to source some Peco Concrete Sleepers. So this afternoon I have sat in the garden in the sun and made up enough loads for two wagons. I think they look rather good and adds another dimension to the train.
