Link to PDF on how you can make a half decent 121 model from a 3D body kit and an Athearn Sw150 donor chassis. Enjoy. I had been semi-obessed with having a decent running CIE 121 class to run with superb MM 141/181 CIE livery locos. This 3D body plus the detailing kit combined with an Athearn DCC ready SW1500 donor chassis enabled my dream to come trough. PDF below to be of assistance to any fellow travellers who may also be keen to have a 121 model loco in the near future and control their own time table.
