RMweb Gold holywell junction Posted January 5, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 5, 2019 Description: The model is based loosely on the Platform building that used to exist on Platform 4 of Holywell Junction in its 1950's state. It is not quite true to the original as a true scale size building would not have fitted on the layout I am currently building (again loosely based on Holywell Junction where I was born and brought up). A degree of modellers licence has therefore been applied. It is made of components from the following companies plus cardboard and any odds and sods I had lying around in my spares box. Note that this is my first attempt at scratchbuilding. Components list: Plain Card Grand Junction Panels Wills Roofing slates and building detailing kit Scalescenes signage and posters London road roof supports Evergreen plastic strip (various) Assorted Acrylic Paints Peedie models valancing 3 LED lights for interior lighting Category: Infrastructure Period: 1950's Entry is for the 2018 challenge ending today 5 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
