Marly51
Love the roof detailing as well! Can anyone advise if there is a 4mm scale balustrade kit, with decorative spindles, available to buy? I need this detail for my 2019 CakeBox model. Marlyn Try the Scalelink site, there may be something suitable in their 1:76 etches. Also Langley Models. If desperate you could also try an internet search.

Balustrades similar to the model here are available in larger scales eg 1/12 for dollshouses. I’ll see if I can improvise. RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted February 5, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 5, 2019 Marlyn, Scalemodel scenery have a laser cut kit. I've got some packed away for a future build, it looks OK so far. Not as thin as an etched one of course. https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/lx078-oo-laser-cut-decorative-gwr-roof-top-railings-oo4mm176-973-p.asp
