Pontypridd MRC Show 27 April (in Llantwit Fardre)

On behalf of Pontypridd Model Railway Club I would like to thank all who contributed to making yesterday's show so successful. The exhibitors, who gave up their time to display their layouts, the club members and our volunteer helper on the door. Also the ladies in the kitchen who kept us all supplied with copious amounts of bacon rolls, tea, coffee and home made cakes. And, of course, all our paying guests (and lots of children who were admitted free of charge).

 

Although turn out was down a little this year we all had a splendid day. The quality of layouts was excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves. 

 

We raised sufficient funds to keep the club running for yet another year and will help with our quest for new premises.

I think Rob Gunstone was showing his new layout Bleat Wharf yesterday in Taunton, so two shows in two days with two different layouts.
