cromptonnut
Both 31-575 (Network Rail), 31-576DC (Network Rail with on-board DCC) and 31-577 (Railtrack) versions are listed on the Bachmann website, as '§' which means "on order, no delivery date at present". Due, yes. When, no idea http://Bachmann.co.uk/prod1.php?prod_selected=branchline&prod=
Beacon
MPV = multi-purpose vehicles. As far as I know this means that weedkiller trains is just one potential use as the units themselves are basically flat unit on which different containers etc. can be attached. I don't know what the Bachmann model will include though?

Steadfast
Weedkilling and Railhead Treatment seem to be the two major uses of the Network Rail fleet of MPVs An RHTT set would give some better options for weathering, and both carry lots of lighting, which will make a nice challenge for the DCC guys Weedkilling MPV at Thingley 7/4/10 RHTT MPV at Kemble 19/11/08 with a heavy coating of track dirt!
