Andrew P
A day with no appointments has meant many happy hours in TOPS. Firstly the Bachmann Sound fitted Class 24 arrived, it is new, and still has all the bits and bobs fitted at a later stage, but it was immediately put into service sorting out some naughty Wagons in what is now the Brewery Distribution Centre.
Andrew P
Then the Postie brought my order from Digitrains, in the form of 3 nice Boom Box Bass Speakers, One for the Hornby TTS Class 20. One for the Heljan 47 fitted with a TTS Sound Chip, And one for the Class 40 that is on it's way to me, the Zimo Sound Chip for that also arrived. And finally the Zimo Chip and a Cube Speaker for the Hornby 08, and so that was fitted as well this morning.

Yes it was a spare Brick pillar from the Bridge build, that I laid down to get the effect of a low wall with buildings behind, before committing to cutting the CORRECT brick paper with the bricks the right way up. All will be well in the final build mate

RMweb Gold Brinkly Posted April 13, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 13, 2019 Hi Andy, I've enjoyed reading through your new project this morning: I'm not totally there yet with regard to the new version of the forum! Missed a lot of good stuff. Looking forward to seeing this project develop. It reminds me of Longcarse West - a P4 layout build for the society's Diesel & Electric challenge a few years ago. I throughly enjoyed watching class 20 and the like pottering about shunting odd wagons. King regards, Nick.

Hi Nick good to have you on board, the 20 are lovely, and the Cl 40 arrived today, so the Sound will go into that later I hope. Lots of shunting, and as you say, things like the 20 etc just pottering about with Wagons. I remember Longcarse West, and I'm sure I've seen it at Shows, possibly DEMU or somewhere, I need to dig out some pics of it to refresh the old brain box. Cheers again. Andrew P
It's a good job were all different, some like the Stock to look as new and many others like Al and I prefer the dirty as it really was look. Either way, it's all modelling, and that's why were here enjoying what others do, and appreciate both side of the same coin. 1
