Photos are looking great Andy - I can almost hear that 24 ‘tic-cupping’ away on my iPad!!!! Isn’t the 20 getting a bit lonely on its own tho? They always had their mate with them round ‘ere!

Rich

My shopping list is getting longer.

Nice looking depot this Andy, I thought you had a few class 33's did you sell them?

Hi Rich, Pretty sure the Cromptons only went as far as York on the cement working.

Cheers Peter.

I shall have to get this computer screen attended to, everything seems to have a blue cast!

Mike.

If you bend the right pin on the connector I’m sure you can get a green cast too.

I like both (or either).

They were regulars on Crewe to Swansea trains and for a while the diagram worked them to Manchester. They were also known to potter along the North Wales line.

They were 31/4 so the super slow ones. Was on a train hauled by one once. We crawled along to the next station then sped up a bit after that. Asked the driver why the improved performance and he said he’d turned off the ETH.

You really only do need one on any layout...

Cheers Guys for all the likes and comments etc.

Today I decided to do some Electonikery, so, I've wired in the Yard Lights and the two Depot Sheds, all 3 are on separate switches as the Yard Lights will only be on when evening running or dark days. The Sheds are on small plugs so can be removed if required.

Can always leave them on in bright sunshine like a lot of depots seemed to !

Cheers Rob, I noticed that looking at many pics of REAL Depots, but looking at many Layouts at shows, both Depot Lights, and Street lights seem to be on even when Layouts are lit from above like Wembley Stadium, which does seem a bit ridiculous at times.

Did a little today after several NONE RAILWAY related jobs.

I covered the embankment with Masking Tape and PVA, followed by a final coat of PVA with some Green Acrylic Paint for an under colour, I will mix Brown with the PVA when I start the flocking.

I then Air Brushed the Track, but I had already ballasted the back siding before remembering to do the Rail Sides, so this is where I am at Teatime.

Hmmmmmm!

Mike.

Although I used them on my Steam Stock, (mainly Tender end only) I prefer them on Diesel's.

When I had Glen Roy, Loch Leven, Fiddlers Yard and Deesdale Road on the Exhibition Circuit many none modellers were amazed that I could uncouple and push stock back to wherever I wanted. and with the settings set up right, I hardly ever needed to get off my Stool, :o(High Chair):good:.

They get my vote Mike.

Really cracking on with this build now Andy.......could say your rushing the job but I know that couldn't possibly be true .....

Thanks Martin, certainly NOT rushing, in fact yesterday I sat in the conservatory for more hours than I spent in the Shed.

I will do a little more today, but may move on to Seven Mills Sidings tomorrow and do a little more on there for a complete change of scene.
