RMweb Gold toboldlygo Posted April 8, 2022 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 8, 2022 So I'll attempt to add the rest - I'm paranoid that they'll disappear(during the next update). All P4 and all older Mainline/Airfix coaches for the most part. LMS Period1 first/ third (Bachmann rerelease). LMS 57' Non- corridor Brake 3rd LMS 50' Passenger Full Brake. LMS 50' Inspection Saloon (Bachmann) LMS Period 1 Corridor Brake 3rd. Oh and I'm building this - Parkside LNER Trestle Wagon. And on a sad note Bramley our beloved chocolate Lab passed away at nearly 14... That's all for now TTFN
RMweb Gold toboldlygo Posted April 20, 2022 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 20, 2022 Sincere apologies for the lack of Updates, unfortunately I had a run in with an insensitive/ uncaring client and I had a visit to A & E at St Georges... Needless to say, it was sorted on the night - was a very long night being Poked and Prodded by the lovely caring nurses (female BTW) at St Georges (Mum has been in bits, can't blame her after B's passing). Now it's time for a build update of sorts.. Parkside LNER 21T Trestle Wagon, this has presented a few challenges to say the least, namely the diagram, some research was needed - oh dear, I've done my best with it... Needs decals and creative weathering.. The Ratio Open C - oh dear, needed some parts - the kit itself comes supplied with Plastic wheels and buffers, slight problem with the brakes reversed and instructions & the wheels (they fall out), fortunately Dart castings came to the rescue (more research by me and by the brother of a client - thanks John). So the MaJ Models Collett full brake (Dia. K.42), it needs Brass sides and modification (and research) to get the sides to fit (thanks @gwrrob for his help). Now these require ALOT of work, a lot of holes drilled/cut, etc. Roof fitted with modification, as to counter the thickness of the sides. Sides painted all over brown (which is correct according to @gwrrob) just awaiting the clear coat (which has been done). So where does this leave me? To Be continued.. 9
RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted April 20, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 20, 2022 I'm very partial to an all over brown pbv so that's a cue to whip mine out for a run.😎 1 2
RMweb Gold toboldlygo Posted May 10, 2022 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 10, 2022 So it's time for another update... He's home, need I say more.😩 The K42 is finally finished, I dragged it kicking and screaming across the finish line. Let down by silvering on the decals, fortunately it faded... A plethora of wagons, all a challenge. Ratio Open C's Parkside 21T Trestle Wagons And a Jedenco M7, done in transition livery - not fun (paint reacted). Oh and an invisible carriage.. All will be revealed... 11
