I could get that shipped to the EU so I hope Kevin that you will be able to resume EU shipments soon. We understand from Crecy that The Southern Way will continue with a new editor, however, to be honest I have my doubts about its longevity. We will continue retailing both The Southern Times and the Western Times as they are released as part of our special offer deals 3 for 2. Although the EU is still fraught with shipping issues with member states stopping some parcels and demanding customs duties on some book consignments, even where no duty or VAT is due. We have decided today to re-introduce shipping to the EU once more, although it will remain the responsibility for the customer to clear any levies imposed in their country of residence. Depends upon your country of residence, we have been sending parcels in the meantime from telephone and postal orders to test the systems, the problems seem to be customs authorities in some countries determined to check everything entering in case they can grab some cash from their residents. We use a combination of Royal Mail, Fedex, DHL, DPD, Le Poste, Duetsche Post etc, it all depends on the weight of the order and its destination, I am not trying to be vague it is just complicated, that's all. In all cases for UK orders and overseas we end up subsidising the actual shipping and packing costs as books are heavy, and they get even heavier once stoutly packed, most of our customer's think our packing is among the absolute best in the business, which also takes our staff time. Hope this helps to answer your question. Kevin

Peter Kazmierczak
Just done a review of Hugh's revised edition of his Mk1/Mk2 book on Amazon. I feel it's worth getting, even if you have the earlier tome, as updates and amendments have been made. The small pictorial diagrams have been slightly improved, especially with respect to bogie detail. Coloured bands have been added within the listings, to aid clarity. The illustrations, though, are identical to the first edition, and some location errors have been perpetuated (eg E13535 on p.91 is at Torquay, not Paignton). But all in all, a good buy, especially when the original edition was £45 and this is £35 (or less). Something similar on Mk3, Mk 4 and Mk5 stock would be worthwhile.
