Right. It's been a while since I updated this.
Will admit I am a little annoyed at the permanent loss of nearly all the images from this thread. Most of them were copy/pasted from the respective pages so they're gone forever as the listings are also now long gone.
Still onward and upward. New starts and all that. As always, pictures are linked if you yourselves are interested in bidding or buying any of these.

To begin with is this adorable US-style sanding tower in N scale.
image.png.3b14548ca7b716c4cdbf5e9e02835a05.pngCompletely scratchbuilt from wood by all accounts. Certainly looks it. It also looks very nice, though the paint could use the odd touch-up.

Next up is this pair of scratchbuilt pubs being sold by the same person. Genuinely tempted myself by these.
image.png.d9182d4896d77917d17f385e96444956.pngimage.png.bd407909d29fdf2deac9c71e40d8f6da.pngThe second one actually looks a lot like a pub that's local to me. It's called the White Lodge and it's outside Attleborough just off the A11, anyone here from mid-Norfolk might be somewhat familiar with it.

Item No.3 for my finds today is this handmade brass 4mm scale LNER A4, complete with chassis.
image.png.b1833523ded39f67867af5bab8e07d1d.png

Not motorised according to the listing so if you go for it keep that in mind.

And finally for this post is this interesting 009 0-4-4-0T. Reminds me a little of a creation by my good friend @Adam FW

image.png.cbf6214018a682f4be4770796844ddd5.png

Might post up some more in a follow up post on here. It'd be a good way to make up for my prolonged absence.

I think it's about time for another instalment of "Weird Stuff I Found in Online Stores" with Red.

image.png.19452d272a79742e048bceda4ccf5020.png
First off I found this American style warehouse made entirely out of wood, which honestly looks kind of like the house one of my friends lives in. I really like this. O Gauge (not totally sure if there is any difference between that and O Gauge here in the UK, but whatever.)

We start off today's collection of items with this curious but adorable little freelance petrol shunter. Reminds me a bit of Philip from Thomas & Friends, only a million times less annoying than my passing experience with that character from watching it with my youngest siblings. It's in HO scale, so should be passable in scale with my OO fellows on here if they want something a touch different.

Next up is this, which appears to be a rough O-Gauge approximation of an LNER Y7 provided by the infamous gostude. Not particularly sure what to say about this. But it's there if anyone here wants it. Though quite why it has the word "Playmobil" in the item listing I don't know.

Next on the agenda is this selection of interesting 009 locomotives by antiquetoys1, the same individual who gave us the green Mallet from a couple weeks ago. Once again, they all appear to be scratch-built fixer-uppers. Kind of cute though. Pictures are linked as always if you're interested, and the same goes for everything else I've shown.

We start off today with this adorable 00 0-4-0PT dock shunter. An approximation of a GWR 1101 Class perhaps? Certainly very Great Western, even if it didn't have panniers. As always images are linked. I'm finding a lot of these half-constructed kit and scratchbuilds, and a lot of them are quite well made, with this one as a perfect case in point.

And then once again we find ourselves with a couple adorable little narrow-gaugers, courtesy of mdtotallytrains-8. I swear the narrow gauges seem to bring out some of the most creative designers when it comes to loco building in this hobby. That little petrol runabout is utterly precious.

Third up is this fantastic NER station building, scratchbuilt by the clearly very talented clairegilmore75. She also has a matching goods shed up for sale, but I couldn't include photos as they were too large for the total file size for this post. I love finding dedicated scenery builders like these. We've had quite a few that I've talked about on this page and they never cease to amaze me with the amount of tiny detail they put into what are in all essence background filler at the end of the day. This is the sort of dedication and effort I love about this hobby.

And we can't finish off a batch of these without a Low Effort Thomas Cash-in, so here from the same creator as "Flippy" from about a month ago...

...these five randos, who are literally a bunch of starter pack engines, a six-wheeled box van and a track cleaning coach with faces blu-tacked onto the front of them.
Truth be told though, and I also thought this while talking about Flippy, what we see of this guy's layout in the photos is actually pretty nice looking. It actually looks a little familiar, maybe it's turned up before on here, IDK. But the layout compared to what he's selling is somewhat... disparate. I'm not going to properly rip into this person as I don't know if he's on this site or not and besides, I'm not someone who really enjoys doing that; but selling these with faces blu-tacked on (they are definitely just blu-tack, you can see it on the Caley Pug behind its face) comes across to me as somewhat cynical. But hey, at least we can get a chuckle out of it on here.

That Petrol Runabout isn't a kitbash, its an Eggerbahn Contractors loco from the late 60s I think and very collectible.  Once upon a time all 009 layouts had a good proportion of Eggerbahn stock if only as the basis for Anglicised conversions.

“Wenhaston” is based upon the Southwold Railway loco, and is probably built straight from a Golden Arrow white metal kit, on a modified MiniTrix chassis

Well I wasn't aware of this as I don't model 009. Now I am. Thanks for that information.

Johnson, remember to post images please for reference purposes and so everyone can see them after the listing is gone.

@Skinnylinny might be interested in this one! That is a lovely loco!

Acquired this very heavy "Britannia" from the'bay a while back, packed it away and just discovered it again! Unknown builder. Thick, brass body and tender shells on an old Triang chassis. Interesting proportions but rumbles along very satisfyingly!

That has very considerable charm. Tri-ang Baltic tank or Hiawatha chassis maybe?

This is on Ebay at the mo. Maybe a combination of Airfix / Kitmaster Evening Star and a Tri-ang Brit chassis? It's been rather well done. Very much a product of the late '60's or early '70's and very refreshing.

This little beastie followed me home from Alexandra Palace a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't resist it. Everything lines up with a Hornby Nr 2 mechanism and I did wonder about finishing it off but I think I'll leave it exactly as it is.
