RMweb Gold Bucoops Posted September 3, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 3, 2020 (edited) As I have plenty of spare (badly etched) ends I thought I'd have a quick look at making them more acccurate. Width wise they are about right, but height wise about 2mm too tall. So using an MJT end as a template I scored and cut a flat RDEB one. I worked on the assumption that it wouldn't change much once curved. Looks good to me - I know I need to thin the right hand side of the door area down a bit. I'm hoping that the corridor connection will cover the rather oversized door! Edited April 16, 2023 by Bucoops Replace pictures 2
RMweb Gold Bucoops Posted September 5, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 5, 2020 (edited) The ends from Wizard have arrived - no holes in these ones Still a bit tall though but that's managable. RMweb Premium Chas Levin Posted April 16, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 16, 2023 Hello Rich, just found this thread after @MikeTrice referred to it on Tony Wright's thread, some very interesting discussion and food for thought. Amongst other things, I too plan a conversion of an Open 3rd to a Cafeteria (I think it was @micklner who mentions that?) and have a Mailcoach kit stashed to try doing it in due course...
