RMweb Gold StuAllen Posted May 13, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 13, 2022 Received a pair of HYA’s from TMC today - they’ve done an amazing job! Really pleased with how they come out and the excellent service they provided. 9 1
RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted May 19, 2022 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 19, 2022 Hi everyone, Our friends at TMC - The Model Centre have gone all out and very kindly customised some HYA hoppers with excellent weathering as well as hand painted graffiti. We know graffiti is an issue on the railways, but it can be argued that it is very difficult to model the current scene accurately without representing it in some fashion. In this case TMC's wizards have really gone to town and captured the look perfectly with some serious skill. Cheers! Fran 6 1 2

I did mention the rolling resistance a while ago...... thinking it may just be a case of running them in? Pushing 4 or 5 by hand up my gradients makes your arm know it's doing it! panzerjaeger
I out a dab of silicone grease in each axle bearing and the results can be seen on this video of 66720 hauling 16 x HYA wagons on my layout. 5 1

Possibly Ashington colliery but I never visited so my 9300 s are at other sites. Ask in the correct topic, not this modern one. Paul
