Impressive progress Rob!

Ta Andy, I have another all third lavatory clerestory 6 wheeled comp printed, but needs a bit of post work, not such a great print this time, think it was my fault and crappy supports! Plus I have GER 6 wheeler all third printing at prsent, but am hoping to print a 6 wheeler Billinton this  week for Ian MacCormac who has kindly sent me a bunch of transfers for these coaches. Then im hoping to try out the GNR Howldens

Excellent. I’m really looking forward to the Howldens. Are you going to the club tonight?

Some close ups of these coaches which are still very much Work in progress, needs glazing, weathering, lighting and thanks to @ianmaccormac I have some transfers to place on these coaches now! Hope to start doing that this week, along with more tests on my Billinton Double Ended brake.

Thanks Dave, I need to pull my finger out and get these 4mm ready, however Im enjoying building this stuff way too much at the moment :)

Hence first attempt at something new, A double ended Billinton Brake in 7mm, i'm not 100% happy with this, but it was my first attempt at printing, and there seems to be a bit of slight warping so have chucked another one on the printer to see if I can fix this issue, along with cleaning up some of the finer details. Have quickly misted it in primer to get a better view of the details and any issues. Soler bars and the roof, are just placed on for the moment hence why the solebars look a bit off!

Update on the Billinton 6 wheel Double ender.

Fixed the warping, not a bad print, a little bit of post required still, but this number is going off to @ianmaccormac who kindly sent me a set of cracking decals for my GER 7mm coaches. Thanks Ian really appreciated chap, they are fantastic set of Decals that will help me finish off these coaches cheers. Will post results soon.

Update on the GER Coaches started putting the transfers on these babies, and  a huge thanks to @ianmaccormac for producing these awesome 7mm Great Eastern Railway Transfers that go on like a breeze and make a massive difference to the look of these models, I think you will all agree, thanks Ian, really appreciated chap.

I should really print and build a background to photograph this stuff on!

Oh, but they're beautiful, quite beautiful!

Very much looking forward to seeing how the 4mm LSWR 6-wheelers turn out, although I may have a vested interest there. Your scumbling on the teak livery is *gorgeous*!

Thanks Linny that is very kind, A huge thanks goes to Ian for the transfers, they make such a difference, I have really enjoyed making these little coaches, and painting the teak is the most fun you can have with a paint brush :) I can't wait to get onto the other stuff, including the LSWR 6 wheelers :)

Finally after a busy few weeks with life stuff, im getting back to working on updating and preparing my GNR Howlden coaches in 7mm, looking forward to test printing some of these next week all being well, but have added a Lav comp to the collection, and updated the brake third. I will also work up the full brake, third and composite luggage coaches to print as well. Hoping to add some 4 wheelers to this stock once i can get my hands on some drawings.

Cheers

Ok so first punt at the 6 wheel GNR Howlden's in 7mm, I was quite pleased with the quality of this print, it came out a lot better than some of the previous prints I have done! I am finding this printing malarkey to be a dark art at times!

Anyhoo I am hoping to crack out a few more coaches in the next few weeks, following this 3 compartment Brake third, I hope to print a Lav composite, 6 compartment all third, and Full brake, and possible a luggage comp.

The roof raises up a bit in these pics, but sits down nicely on the top of the carriage walls. I also have all the vac pipes and end grab rails, plus buffers, and top head lamp printed out separately to fix on

Fantastic Rob, having seen it in the flesh on Monday night I don’t think these photos do justice to the fine detail like the key holes above the windows which are exquisite.
