RMweb Gold Darius43 Posted August 25, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 25, 2021 (edited) I modified the bogie pivots using brass rod “pins” fixed to the coach body that engage with a slightly larger diameter hole in the bogie. This provides a more positive engagement. Cheers Darius Edited August 25, 2021 by Darius43

apt-e
Test fitting. Not mounted on its point yet so it's ride height is not correct yet. New bt12 / 32 bogies, sizes and design taken from many photos of the dev coach. Roof not glued in place yet also. Working on the couplings tomorrow. Regards Paul. apt-e
Got the ride height sorted now and the coach mounted on its bogies. Working on the besare Hornby coupling now so it can be run with the old model, or converted to run behind a standard test train. More to come......

apt-e
I started a new job this week, so will get this model finished as soon as I can. Prototype has been running, but needs a little tweaking before I will be happy with it. Paul.

RMweb Gold Robert Shrives Posted October 1, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 1, 2021 Just to add this look all very good and for me it was POP in N day with cleaning prints and gluing up the bogies and PC3 and 4. Had to stop as cross eyed with the bulkheads but well worth taking time, I will add a picture later- a recommended kit. Robert
