Edwardian
Well, you all know my fairly lax approach to railway colours, based on my stubborn belief that there were so many factors affecting the appearance of colour that the only means to preserve relative sanity is to paint models in the colours that look right to you .... However, here I am asking for a friend. Does anyone know if the above-named product represents Wainwright or Maunsell grey? I could write to Mr P Paints, of course, but I thought one of the Sou' Easterners here might know offhand. Thanks in advance. 2 2

wainwright1
Hi Edwardian. The colour represents the later dark grey for the Maunsell period. They do not do a lighter lead grey for the Wainwright period, so I use Precision P130 B. R. Roof Grey (Maroon Coaches only). All the best Ray 1
