I recently acquired a NuCast GWR Steam Rail Motor, seems to be missing a couple of bits mainly its motion. I am asking on the off chance someone may have a spare motion etch

I have not tried the Nu-Cast Partnership yet and I will give them a call, just thought I would ask hear first and is there an alternative available

Hi John

I'm away at sea at present, but I may have one in a box at home - bought many years ago (20+) with the idea that it might be better than the Jidenco offering for a Midland steam railmotor, with necessary tweaks to make it look more 'Midland'. Anyway, I now have a LRM power unit kit for it to build.

If you have no joy before I get home, at the end of October, I'll go searching.

Cheers

Mark

Hi John,

stores@scalefour.org

See also his follow up thread regarding the underframe: https://www.scalefour.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=132&t=6334&p=68325&hilit=gwr+railmotor+underframe#p66959

And also the one about the body construction:- https://www.scalefour.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=132&t=7070&p=77845&hilit=gwr+railmotor+underframe#p77845

I think these etches are still all work in progress.

His chassis etch (motor bogie) has parts for OO, EM and P4 gauges
