br2975
Sad news regarding Tom Davis, "Innkeeper" at The Station Inn, Cresson, who has passed away aged 91 after a protracted illness. . Tom was well known to 'railfans' as the proprietor of the Station Inn, situated alongside the Norfolk Southern main line near the Horseshoe Curve. I visited Cresson in 2016, and Tom was an excellent host, and, due to his name, considered himself an 'honorary Welshman'. . May he Rest in Peace, safe in the knowledge he brought much joy to so many enthusiasts. Edited October 6, 2021 by br2975 2
Johann Marsbar
I spotted that sad news on Trainorders this morning. I stayed at the Station Inn on three seperate occasions between 2003 and 2011 and found him to be a most congenial host. R.I.P. 1
