post-steam models that have good quality control and the same attention to detail as their steam era stuff....

Apart from their A2/2s with wonky footplates and a weird shade of green, for starters.,

Hi all

I was wondering when Hornby are going to announce the 2022 range I tried looking on here but can't find a thread

What great first post - a wishlist!

More a valid question than a wishlist.

Jason

Any question about a range announcement is a thinly veiled excuse for a wishlist.

A new HST?

Ah - oops - that's been leaked already...............

Unless you're watching on catch-up TV.

In which case **** SPOILER ALERT ****

Ah - oops - that should've been at the top of the post.

I predict a new HST and a model of Lion, and some steam locos with real steam.

A new model of Flying Scotsman and Mallard in some form, as well as some railroad 0-4-0s

More railroad 47’s to keep the “modern image” range current.

i’m also going to predict a new model thats been in development for years that will be slightly cheaper and less well developed than someone else who stole their idea and they are defending it.

i”m going to guess some Oxford stock might end up in a Hornby box, or a even a  sticker of some form on an Oxford box.

Oh and one more thing…

price rises.

I’m predicting someone's going to nick one of their more exc8ting steam locos thats ripe for picking in 2022 though. :sungum:

Not possible - none of them ran on the ECML.

6 of them lived right next to the ECML for a decade, and all bar one of them (003) are churning through overhaul at Freightliner in Leeds currently… and 003 has had a few spins to Peterborough.

And the publicity artwork will be a different colour and detail to the production.
