Tonight's included the Aln (normally pronounced alan !) Valley Railway. A nice little heritage line whose plan is to re-connect Alnmouth with Alnwick, unfortunately much of the line to the original station* in Alnwick has been built over so they have built a new station called "Lionheart" alongside the A1, so far they have got about halfway to Alnmouth. *Now a rather nice bookshop "Barter Books" visited by Tim Dunn in his Architecture series. It has an Large Gauge Bahn running around above the bookcases. It's Alanmouth, Alan Valley but Annick Castle, so I have be told by nor'easters Edited February 10, 2022 by melmerby

paulbb
Yes many of his journeys were in the 150xx series and of those many in class 158 - a budget inter city train if there was ever one.
