Peco setrack point changes (st240 & st241)

When did Peco alter the design on their setrack points? I think they changed when the packaging did a couple of years ago.

I'm trying to sell some at the moment and a potential purchaser asked about the missing contact strips which made me look closely at the points and wow what a lot of differences for something that looks unaltered from a couple of feet. It would also appear that most retailers are still using the old point image as are Peco themselves.
